The Autumn Tag

It's that time of the year again, yes, it is October, which means Autumn has arrived and Winter will soon be here. So what better time to do: 'The Autumn Tag'? I am one of those people who claim to love Autumn and Winter but moan like an old woman when the coldness arrives so I do apologise to anyone who has witnessed me on a cold day but I do love everything else which comes with Autumn so let's get started! 

1. What is your favourite thing about Autumn?

There's so many things I love about this time of year, but there is one thing I could not live without which is tea! I just love snuggling down in my fluffy onesie (another one of my favourite things) and drinking a warm cup of green tea. 

2. Favourite Autumn drink? 

So I hadn't realised that I had pretty much answered this question until after I had written it but the answer is tea, every kind of tea. 

3. Favourite scent or candle?

Honestly, I have only just started buying candles for this year but from previous years I always reminisce whenever I smell any candle which has a pine scent as my family were all about buying a real christmas tree! 

4. Best Autumn lipstick?

I am not usually a lipstick kind of girl as I do prefer lip-gloss but when I saw the Rimmel London Matte Finish Lipstick from the Kate Moss range in the colour 107 I fell in love. I just love the colour of this lipstick, I think it is perfect for Autumn because I love wearing red lipsticks during Autumn and I usually keep on wearing them through out Winter as well. 

5. Go-to moisturiser in Autumn?

The amount of moisturiser I go through every month is crazy so when I say I don't actually have one which I stick to it shouldn't come as a surprise. But at the moment I am loving the 'Balance Me moisture rich face cream'. I actually got this moisturiser as a free sample in a magazine which I was very happy about because I have tried a few Balance Me products before and they worked wonders for my skin. Because the cream is so rich it really helps my skin when it gets extremely dry.

6. Go-to Autumn eye colour?

I was actually thinking about leaving this question out as I rarely wear eye shadow however I kept it in and have decided that I am going to start experimenting and going beyond my daily eye liner and mascara. I think I will start steady with some neutral colours like golds or the traditional smokey eye but as I get more adventurous I would love to start to wear purple!

7. Favourite band or artist to listen to?

I change the music I listen to so often I can't even remember what was on my ipod last week! But at the moment I love listening to the band fun and oddly on the other end of the music world I am loving listening to Travie Mccoy's old albums! I would say I have very strange taste in music. 

8. Favourite outfit to wear?

Although this doesn't really count as I would not venture out of the house in this but I do spend the majority of my time in pyjamas. That aside though I don't have a particular 'favourite outfit' as such but what ever I am wearing, whether it is a dress or just something casual I always have my trusty body warmer on which I got for a bargain of £16 from Peacocks! 

9. Autumn treat?

Every Autumn/Winter I love going into various stores and browsing through the huge collections of fluffy socks which tend to appear during the months leading up to Christmas so I would have to say a lovely treat would be a life-time supply of fluffy socks (specifically from joules)!! 

10. Favourite place to be?

Yes, I am about to say that my favourite place to be during Autumn is Starbucks. I can not even explain my love for that place during Autumn (or any time of the year for that matter)!! The frappuccinos are to die for during this time of year so you can imagine how expensive this love for Starbucks gets but I have to say, it is 100% worth it.
